I loved this game as a kid and played it to death, but one thing always bugged me…
Why the crap do you have to pay a genie who grants you a wish that’s normally free of charge? Did Captain Maple have to pay off a second mortgage just to get the Princess Toadstool/Peach statue via that genie? Maybe that’s why that genie looks so happy; he gets the better deal getting paid.
Also who the hell prices the planet/moon at $100,000+?! Maybe Mario money has a crazy exchange rate…
